JT Removals & Transport

By engaging JT Removals & Transport, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are estimates based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Additional charges may apply where:

• The scope of work changes
• Additional items are added
• Access is more difficult than advised
• Waiting times occur outside our control
• Additional labour or equipment is required

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

• Accurate details are provided regarding the move or transport requirements
• Safe and reasonable access is available at pickup and delivery locations
• All items are appropriately packed unless packing services have been arranged
• Valuable, fragile or sentimental items are identified prior to transport

Transport and Delivery

JT Removals & Transport will take reasonable care when handling and transporting goods. Delivery times provided are estimates only and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.

Damage and Liability

While every care is taken, JT Removals & Transport is not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage to items
• Damage resulting from inadequate packing by the customer
• Mechanical or electrical failure of transported items
• Loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Any claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Restricted Items

We reserve the right to refuse transport of any dangerous, illegal or hazardous goods, including but not limited to:

• Flammable liquids
• Explosives
• Gas cylinders
• Illegal substances
• Any item prohibited by law

Cancellations

Customers should provide as much notice as possible if a booking needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.

JT Removals & Transport reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for bookings cancelled at short notice.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within seven (7) days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may incur administration fees and debt recovery costs where applicable.
